Please join us on Wednesday February 8th at the Best Western Plus Westwood Inn for our MPI Greater Edmonton Chapter luncheon. Members and non-members are welcome!
Both planners and suppliers will take away a great deal of useful information from this session. SMM (or Strategic Meetings Management) seems to be all the rage in the event industry these days. If you know anything about strategic meetings management programs (or especially if you don’t) this session is for you. Betsy will explain what Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) is and how it can benefit your business, whether you work for a large company, small association or are on your own.
You may think that strategic meeting management programs have little to do with the end experience. After all, the main goal is to save money, right? SMM is more than just cost savings. In this session, consider how strategic meetings management can help enhance the experience of all meeting participants and discuss strategies for capitalizing on these efforts with your peers. In addition to the planner perspective, this session will address supplier concerns and teach them how knowing about SMM will help to increase their business by speaking the same language and effectively connecting with planners to create a successful event.
1. Understand the value of SMM and its relationship with the participant experience
2. Identify three ways you can enhance the attendee experience through SMM
3. Recognize ways these methods can be implemented at your (or your clients) organization
